Incumbent Governor, Olusegun Mimiko, of the Labour Party has been declared winner of the Ondo gubernatorial election leading in 13 Local Government Areas (LGA), out of the 18 LGA’s with a staggering 260,199 votes.
His two main rivals, Olusola Oke of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Barrister Rotimi Akerololu of the Action Congress Party of Nigeria were close on heels with 155,961 and 143,512 votes respectively.
